Matsushima 3
This is another weird island in Matsushima. The shape of this island is a result of erosion caused by the ocean waves. the reason why its called “Nio-jima(Deva kings->the guardian gods of a temple gate)” is, its shape looks like a man sitting on the surface of the sea with a hat on his head and a cigarette in his mouth.

this is my last island pic in Matsushima. actually, I don know the name of this island… I just thought it doesn’t harm anybody if I post this pic here. my friend here said, it could be just the other side of kane-jima…oops, sorry if ….
