When we went into check out what was there, the place was crowded with little kids who waits to wear police uniform to take pictures. They were pretending to be police officers riding on the white police motorbike. a lot of vehicles such as bikes and helicoptor actually used before were displayed.

Ginza

Hi. Ginza is very famous for upper class market in Tokyo. you see a lot of department stores, fine dining, cafe, boutiques, art galleries and so on. prices are higher than the other areas in Tokyo, for example the price of a cup of coffee is usually more than 1,000 yen. ginza.gif

The street of this picture is called “Chuo dori” is the most famous street where you see those fine stores and buildings. if you keep going this street toward JR station, you see department stores such as “Mitsukoshi”, “Matsuya” and “Matsuzakaya”. The clock tower of the WAKO building across from Mitsukoshi department store is famous as a meeting place.

Apparently this street is is free of vehicle during weekends in summer time what called ‘Hokosha tengoku(pedestrians’ paradise)’ in Japanese. its nice to go sometimes to browsing those fancy stuff!

Meidi-ya(Kyobashi)

Meidi-ya is very high-quality gourmet food and beverage stores in Japan.
Apparently it has opened for 120 years since Meigi-Period. Thus the name of store is “Meidi-ya”(I guess)

since it is fancy import groceries and a well-known traditional company, the products they have seems to be a little expensive even in Japanese standard. However, you will see food stuff from all over the world. it is a must-see stores especially for foreigners.
I stopped by Kyobashi shop and bought some European cheese that I missed so much!

By the way, it is said that real estate patch in front of this store has the highest land price value as a commercial land in Japan. I wonder how much it would be…
