Yakitate… better than Croissant
Released in 2004, the 60 episode baking story of a young boy named Azuma, Kazuma starts off at the most culturally rich backdrop of the most rural of Japanese locales.. the farmlands. The story revolves around how Azuma yearns to make a bread that Japan will be known for and proud of, just like how European countries have theirs.

I like this kinda anime involving food. I remember there was also anime show called “Mr. Azikko” looong loong time ag, a boy was persuing for the ultimate cooking. Japanese are very sensitive when it comes to food…
