my dear cherry blossom!!

Friday, April 7th, 2006

when it comes to cherry blossom, Japan is no.1 in its numbers and in its beauty. I found a blog by canadian girl who stays in Japan, she posted beautiful cherry trees pictures. those two pictures she took are same picture with cherry trees along the street, but different season, summer and winter.

I stayed in Japan for 3 years and I saw quite a bit cherry trees in many different parks in different prefectures. They were just amazing!! yes, it is takes a big part of their culture.

it must be the best season to watch “sakura” blossoms there in Japan. I wanna go back someday.

Kyoto!

Monday, April 3rd, 2006

I visited Kyoto in the first week of April of last year. The view of the cherry blossoms with the traditional temples and shrines were just fantastic! It’s like you are in a piece of Japanese post card. Especially the cherry trees(Shidare zakura) in Maruyama park (Maruyama kouen) were awesome! It’s also nice to walk along Kamo river (Kamo gawa). Oh, I wanna go back to Kyoto…

Yamaha resort “haimurubushi” in 1979

Monday, April 3rd, 2006

Yamaha resort “haimurubushi” is located in Okinawa as a Japanese southernmost resort.
The climate there is much warmer than rest of Japan, so you can enjoy a various kinds of Maline sports activities such as diving, fishing, snorkeling and more.
Even though it is technically in Japan, you don feel like it is in Japan.
