Sea Urchin rice bowl(uni-don)

I wanna post a sea urchin don by Tsukiji Fish Market. I was blowsing blogs and found Feel Tokyo site. I remember the most farburous sea urchin I have ever had at a fish restaurant by this market. sushi and sashimi is very popular among non-Japanese people. however, those people think sea urchin is still challenging stuff. but unlike other non-Japanese, I love ”Uni!!!!!”. its prolly that was the one I first ever had and I loved it a lot!! Thanks to kaz, my Japanese friend who took me there.

I don remember the name of restaurant… but it was delicious!! I tried some uni sushi here in Canada after I got back. but it didn’t taste as good as that one. maybe it wasn’t fresh enough or could be a different kind? I wanna have that uni-don again if I have a chance to go back…

My best 3 views from skyscrapers

I went to landmark tower in Yokohama to go up to the top to see a beautiful night view as my friend always recommended. I personally like this Minatomirai 21 area. its simply that I grow up close to the port of a big city and whenever I come here, it reminds me of myself my hometown.

when I was looking for info about views from high-rise building in TYO area, I hit this blog. Mari recommends her best 3 spots here. I have also beent to these three spots. As for me, My No.1 is landmark tower, 2nd is Roppongi Hills, 3rd is Marine Tower in Yokohama. its not so high as the others, but I choose this because I just love Yokohama!! Luckily, this issue’s special features is Yokohama.

Top 20 animation program rating

nowadays, Japanese animation is very popular over the world. “Pokemon”, “Studio Ghibli”, “Doraemon”, “Sailor Moon”, “Dragon Ball”… and many other Japanese animation has been dubbed in local languages and shown on TV. Even though not all the Japanese animation has been out in the world, I wanted to compare which animation program is popular in the world and in Japan I might see something in common and uncommon elements in both Japan and other countries.

I found an interesting blog topic Japanese animatin in the world and blog owner was listing the top 20 Japanese animation in foreign countries. I found top 100 animation program rating in Japan conducted by Asahi TV Network as well.

Dragon Ball and Pocket monster are more popular in other countries. these are dubbed in more countries I guess. some top rated programs in Japan were old ones when not so many animation program were there in Japan. so it might not be accurate comparison, but just to show you the rating…
